Welcome to the KID PA website. We’re glad you stopped by. We decided it was time to make a site, so here it is.

KID PA is a punk rock 3 piece from Harrisburg/Lancaster PA. The 3 of us used to play in a band called Superbuick. After Superbuick ended, Steve and I decided we wanted to form a band playing the music that we both loved and grew up on. Our sound is influenced a lot by 1980′s LA hardcore. Since hardcore has now become a gross mutation of girls jeans and forward brushed haircuts, you might now know it as simply punk rock.

All three of us are also heavily influenced by skateboarding. Fast punk and skateboarding go hand in hand. Our favorite stuff musically has always been fast and melodic. To give you an idea of where we are coming from, we listen to bands like NOFX, Minor Threat, Bad Religion, 7 seconds, FOD, D.I., Black Flag, Operation Ivy, Rancid, Green Day, RKL…you get the idea. This is by no means where that list ends, but it certainly is where it begins.

After a year of trying to find a guitar player, we finally found one who was there the whole time…Steve’s brother Bruce. Now we’re  ready to hit the ground running. Thanks for stopping by.  – Tommy
